NHACLEA Steele Award Nominations

The Steele Award, named for Southern New Hampshire University Public Safety Officer Lisa
Steele, is intended to recognize a member (or members) of a New Hampshire Campus Safety or
Police Department who has/have demonstrated a long-standing commitment to their campus
community.   

Officer Steele died in 1998 after 13 years of service to New Hampshire College.

Criteria:

  • Any member of the Association can submit a nomination.

  • Nominees must have been employed for a college or university campus safety or police
    department for at least 5 consecutive years, and;

  • Must demonstrate long-standing commitment to their campus and their field.

Please include:

  • Name of Nominee
  • Institution and Department
  • Date of Hire and Position
  • Current Position and Date of Promotion
  • List accomplishments and/or significant contributions
  • Certifications and/or honors
  • Director's Recommendation
  • Recommended by (and title)

The nominee's recommendation may be as lengthy as is necessary.
